Chris King Boost 6-Bolt 148x12 rear hubs — precision mountain tools. We use one-piece solid axles for maximum stiffness, so your suspension performs better and every watt of power goes directly to the trail. To protect against mud, water, and dirt, Boost 6-Bolt hubs feature durable bearing seals and a threaded driveshell seal. Our bearings — in steel or ceramic — have heat-treated, surgically precision steel races that are machined with evenly wearing tools to ensure the inner and outer races mesh perfectly. The quality and precision of our bearings make all the difference; you'll feel and hear it on every ride. As Chris King bearing surfaces break in, they actually get faster over time. All hubs and bearings are fully serviceable for years of heavy use. The patented Chris King RingDrive with 72 simultaneous engagement points puts your power to the ground in no time, offers unparalleled engagement and delivers the legendary, biting Chris King “angry-bee” sound.
