Why we make them
What sets King components apart is our focus on detail. There are many other lockrings on the market, but we wanted our wheels to have a lockring that matches their quality, appearance, and function. In short: if we believe we can improve something, we don't settle for the status quo.
Why you want him
The King lockring is made of aluminium with a steel crush washer and features the classic King laser engraving, matching our headsets and rims.
We invested a lot of time in the precise design of this part. Besides the subtle shaping on the front, the knurling on the back has a very specific contour: it's easy to unscrew, yet sits extremely securely. Its color matches your other King components.

Note: The Chris King Centerlock lockring conforms to Shimano standard dimensions with a 4 mm thick flange and a 44 mm outer diameter. This design is compatible with all mountain bike forks and frames, as well as many road bike models. However, some road bike forks and frames require slimmer, internally toothed lockrings. We recommend checking your bike's dimensions before ordering.
