Our Superboost Centerlock 157x12 rear hubs utilize one-piece solid axles for an ultra-stiff platform that lets your suspension work better and puts every watt directly to the trail. To keep mud and water out, they're equipped with rugged bearing seals and retaining rings that provide superior protection with ultra-low friction. Each hub is a rolling trail dream. Our bearings—steel or ceramic—feature heat-treated, surgically precision races that are machined simultaneously to ensure the inner and outer races mesh perfectly. You'll feel (and hear) the quality and speed of our bearings on every ride. As Chris King races break in, they actually get faster. A little regular attention (i.e., servicing) will keep this hub going for years of hard riding. The patented Chris King RingDrive with 72 simultaneous engagement points puts your power to the ground quickly, offering unparalleled engagement and delivering the legendary Chris King "angry bee" sound. All Chris King rear hubs deliver that characteristic angry-bee sound.
