WHY WE BUILD THIS HUB
Chris, our founder, spirit animal, and "King" himself, is at heart one thing above all: a mountain biker. We're building this hub because it feels almost spiritually imperative – as a tribute to the dirt that has given us so much inspiration, and to make Chris happy.
WHY YOU WANT HER
Our Boost Centerlock front hubs feature one-piece axles for maximum stiffness and rail-like steering. To keep mud and water out, they utilize heavy-duty bearing seals and circlips that provide superior protection with ultra-low friction. Each one is a rolling dream for trail performance.
Our bearings – steel or ceramic – run on heat-treated, surgically precision raceways that are machined simultaneously to ensure a perfect fit between the inner and outer rings. You'll feel (and hear) this bearing quality and speed on every ride. As the raceways of your Chris King bearings wear in, they will even become more durable over time.
